Calendar and list show what goes out when. Price changes, categories and budgets included.
Electricity, gas, water, heating: type the reading, done. ovr works out your usage and charts it.

FAQ
No. ovr has no sign-in and no server. Open the app and start.
On your iPhone. If you turn on iCloud sync, also in your private iCloud, so it’s on your other device too. The developer has no access. You can export (CSV, JSON, ZIP) or delete everything at any time in Settings.
No. ovr estimates it from what you entered, for German consumer contracts from March 2022 using the rule in § 309 No. 9 BGB. Your contract and the provider’s terms are what count. ovr is not legal advice.
No. ovr drafts a cancellation or opens the provider’s cancellation page. You review and send it yourself, for example from Mail.
An iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, with Apple Intelligence turned on in a supported language. Without it, ovr pre-fills fields with simple rules – and you can always type everything yourself.
No. You can import a bank statement as a CSV file and ovr suggests recurring charges from it. There is no bank connection and no login details.
ovr is free – no ads, no account and no limit on how many contracts you add. Everything that reminds you of deadlines and helps you cancel stays free. If you’d like more automation and foresight, you can add the optional ovr Plus (see below).
ovr Plus is an optional upgrade. ovr itself stays free; Plus adds more automation, foresight and personal style. What protects you – deadlines, reminders and cancelling – is never behind a paywall.
Free, for good:
With ovr Plus:
Planned for later versions: household profiles, an annual PDF report, custom categories and alternative app icons.
Prices at launch (EU, incl. VAT):
The price the App Store shows you before you buy is what counts. In EU countries that don’t use the euro, Apple converts it to the local currency.
The 14 free days come with the yearly plan only, once per new subscriber (that’s Apple’s rule). Two days before the trial ends, ovr reminds you with a notification on your iPhone. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and you pay nothing.
You pay with your Apple ID in the App Store – Apple is the seller. ovr has no account and never sees your payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time in your iPhone’s Settings under “your name → Subscriptions”, or in ovr under Settings → ovr Plus, at least 24 hours before renewal. Refunds also go through Apple; you can request one in ovr under Settings → ovr Plus.
Yes: the yearly plan, the monthly plan and lifetime can all be shared with up to 5 family members through Family Sharing. On a new iPhone, tap “Restore” in ovr (on the Plus screen or under Settings → ovr Plus). With the same Apple ID, Plus is back straight away.
Nothing is deleted. If Plus ends – because the subscription runs out, is refunded or you leave a family group – all your contracts stay, including those from bank statement import. Reminders keep working for every contract. Extra budgets stay visible but can’t be edited, the colour goes back to Graphite (black and white), and the Plus forecasts are locked again. Export and “Delete all data” always work.
If a payment to Apple fails, Plus stays active for up to 16 days while Apple tries again.
Export your transactions from online banking as a CSV file and pick it in ovr. ovr reads the file right on your iPhone, finds recurring payments – from weekly to yearly – and matches them to known providers. You get a list of suggestions and tick the ones to add. Only those are saved as contracts; ovr doesn’t keep the other transactions.
There’s no bank connection and no login details. The file never leaves your iPhone – not even with iCloud sync on; only the contracts you add are synced. For free you see every match and can create up to 5 contracts from it (and add more by hand at any time); with Plus there’s no limit and you can add them all at once.
Direct debits often don’t go out on the due date itself: if it falls on a weekend or a bank holiday, the bank usually takes the money on the next banking day. ovr Plus works this out for every contract – using the SEPA payment system’s holidays (TARGET2) and, optionally, your German state’s public holidays – and learns from imported statements when a provider actually debits, say always on the 3rd banking day. So you see the day the money really leaves your account.
The calculation runs on your iPhone and is an estimate; what your bank actually books is what counts.
